Greys days and beauty...............

On a very grey, wet and cold day we found ourselves

discovering 'hidden beauty' in 

Port Chalmers.

With a chorus of Tui and Bell birds singing we entered this haven for 

the talented artist 

Ralph Hotere's sculptures.

The magic of flat moody light seem to give these crafted

statements a presence that drew you to them.....

washed with knowing and peace.
